Boro-17

Boron 17

Boric Acid

AUTHORISED FOR USE IN ORGANIC PRODUCTION.
Boron (B) Water-soluble 17 %

To be used only where there is a recognised need. Do not exceed the appropriate dose rates.

CHARACTERISTICS:

Highly water-soluble fertiliser recommended to prevent or combat B-deficiency. It promotes the sugar and protein synthesis, improves germination and fruit setting. Lack of boron in olive trees, vines, beets, corn causes beet rot, millerandage, colatura, grape necrosis, suberose tissue in some fruits and lack of fertilisation in maize with consequent lower yields. In celery and lettuce prevents leaves browning.

DOSE RATES AND CONDITIONS OF USE:

FOLIAR APPLICATION

CROP APPLICATION PERIOD
DOSE
Fruit trees In the first vegetative and pre-blossoming phases or in case of B-deficiency 2-2,5 Kg/Ha
Vegetable crops Pre-blossoming and fruit-setting 200 g/hl
Flowering plants In case of B-deficiency 150-200 g/hl
Cereals and industrial crops In the first vegetative phases and before the bunch closure 2,5 Kg/ha

IN FERTIRRIGATION

At the same period, or when there is a shortage of boron, at a dose of 2.5 kg/ha.

In a protected environment (greenhouses, tunnels, etc.) reduce the recommended dosage by 20-25%. The foliar application of the product should be carried out in the coolest and most serene hours of the day.

MISCIBILITY

The product does not present contraindications for miscibility with other fertilser formulations, both organic and inorganic, with the most commonly used pesticides, except for alkaline-reaction products and mineral oils. In combination with other formulations it is always advisable to carry out small-scale tests to check their compatibility.
